Have you tried the scope from Leon? He makes some good stuff. If you do a search for Leon at this site it will pull up all his mods. His scope is called "Leon-ZNV Light Scopes".

And is it just me, or should the scope be ROUND? I don't know about the full-screen square scopes...

i dont like the full screen ones take the realism out of sniping if you ask me

I totally agree about the realism.

Is it possible to make a scope with adjustable zoom? I like to look through the scope at the minimum zoom until I find a target then zoom in as necessary to take 'em out. Just a thought...

i dont think it is. i got a mod by leon before it was his ubsersoldat axis rifle it had improved zoom on the scope but it only worked on a server i start
