well, its really up to you to take the time to try as many possibilities as you can.
for me, I run a GeFroce2 32MB card. and i basically have everything on medium to high settings. and get good fps on 800x600 resolution.

basically, turn everything down to lowest, leave res at what you have it as, a gf4 should be able to handle 800x600 and more.
then increase important things like models and textures to higher settings untill satisfied, if they get to max, then throw in bonuses like volumetric smoke. (dont bother with volumetric lighting, its not that big a difference)
dont know if this helps, but its a start.

I'll give it a shot, thnx. I was also wondering about some good tweaks for the card itself. I have a Vid Util "RivaTuner" and was thinking others have tried it and had good results.
On some maps(ie. Crossroads) my avg FPS is 30

The console command for increasing the max fps is:

com_maxfps 300

I use 300 but whatever you want is fine. I have a GeForce4 Ti 4200 and I dont normally get fps over 200.

Also, there is a list of console commands on the FAKK website. Check it out, there are some interesting commands you can use.

thnx, but thats to change the cap on the fps display, it doesn't increase my fps. Would be useful if I can ever break the 90fps mark chop: lol

I've update my bios, my VIA chipset, have the latest G4 drivers....and still the same cry: Ive tried a little to tweak the G4 but I don't want to fry the card flamethrower:

The other weird thing is that in RivaTuner, it says my AGP transfer rate is PCI oOo: . The card is in the AGP slot, WTF?

What's the URL for that site, if you don't mind?

I have a tweak tip for you.
First open your case, then unscrew your GF4MX, carefully slipe it out of your AGP port, then walk over to your bin, and drop it in. Then dig a big hole, and burry your bin.

Then, go to your local and buy a GF4TI or a GF3TI
