hahahahaha problem solved by miscguy, hibernate made bells ring in my head so i had a look and in ASE there is an option to stop winamp playing.

And guess wot it was ticked it is now unticked and everything is tickety boo.

I hate 3.0. You cannot do some features that were available in 2.8. I went back to 2.8. You cannot stop the songs from scrolling, you can't change the visiualization's features, so you have the bars with the falloffs, they totally left that part out! I'll wait until they fix some of those problems before I jump to 3.
