[quote="Captain_McCusker":39949]CKR is just a realism mod (unless you mean AutoKick, but I'll get to that in a second). It changes the damage, rate of fire, amount of ammo, etc, etc, to give the play more of a feeling of "realism." CKR is one of the more known realism mods, along with DOA's realism mod.

If you mean AutoKick (also by Crow King), then that will only keep out people who've been banned, have bad words in their name and have high pings. It really can't keep someone out who's cheating.

And as far as being able to tell when someone's cheating, it takes experience. I just recently started running a server along with three other folks and we're mind-boggled by the whole detection thing. Truth is, I never worried about it until I started running a server (the bright skins are becoming more and more common). Just listen to what people say on the forums about it, and talk to other people you know about it (but be careful, some servers don't like cheat discussion and will kick you). Eventually, you just know how to spot cheating (also be careful about assusing someone - make sure you KNOW they're cheating).[/quote:39949]

Well said.
