Some people think that binding lean and strafe is cheating. I don't bind mine for the lean and strafe but I run around leaning. biggrin:

I have been trying it for about 6 days and no one has said anything about it. If it is determined to be cheating, I will remove mine. I don't think it has given me much of an advantage, it has just made it easier on my rather older fingers. oOo: More of a convenience than an advantage.

There have been several threads on this subject and everyone has mixed feelings on it. When the expansion pack come out it will not be a factor anyomore, they are making it so you can't lean and run at the same time.

I wish they wouldn't take out the leaning and running from the game. It was always a good way to look around corners.

Sucks to be you, stackem.

Let's define the definition of cheat in gaming.

A cheat is anything that gives one player an unfair advantage or ability that other players cannot posess, hence the player with the cheat has something no one else in the game can posess (unless another player has it, yes)

Now, a bind anyone can do. If you bind strife and lean together, it's not a cheat. It's lame, but it's not a cheat.
