Nope.
I tried just unzipping the .cab into the specified file, but I still get an "invalid path error 76" message.
I really can't figure what I'm doing wrong. I'm going to check out that thread again to see if I can figure what I'm doing wrong. oOo:
When r u getting the path error? When you first start it up? If so, it is because Autokick is looking for its files and can't find them. Did you remove it and re-install into a new directory without using the installer program? From your last message, it sounds like this may be the case. If so, the registry entries aren't up to date. To fix this, just copy your Autokick files from the directory that they are in now to the directory that they used to be in.
Just for anyones information...
I got it fixed by reinstalling or overinstalling windows onto my hd. I guess I must have lost some files somewhere.
Thanks for all your help.
Also, for CK, how come the client names no longer drop off in the 1.2 version when they disconnect?
When the server drops them, they should drop out of Autokick. I've noticed that when I disconnect from my server during a map switch, it keeps me listed as connected until Autokick boots me or I timeout on the server. I've also noticed that the server keeps sending the data packets to me as well.
Oddly enough, they are staying on mine.
I ran my server a few saturdays ago while I was on shift. When I came home, I thought there was a bunch of people were on the server, but it turned out to be all the people that had played while I was gone. For some reason, it just holds on to the info in status until you restart the program
Oh, I got ya. I thought you meant they were being returned in the status list, but you're saying you're seeing players in Autokick when there aren't any on the server.
Autokick will always show you the last good list of players it has received from the server. If you see this again, watch the console window above the player list - Autokick will show you what messages it is receiving back from the server and you can see what is in the player list.
