Default Binding Server to IP - Linux - 10-13-2002, 03:01 PM

Hi folks, I have a new Linux server that is capable of running 3 or 4 MOH games. I've done a lot of tweaking and the games run fine and fast on it, however, the machine has 4 ip addresses and I've noticed that the linux binary does not allow me to use any of them, all games bind to the primary IP on the box. I'm using +net_ip xxx.xxx.xx.xxx of course. Oh heck, why am I posting this here, I'll try the Icculus list... Appreciate a tip if anyone here does know anything about that though...

Open linuxconf.... under the sections for eth0 eth1 etc etc... enable ALIASES.

This means a NIC with an IP of 192.168.0.1 will ALSO act as if it was 192.168.0.2 ,3 ,4 and so on.
