Thanks Chronic. That gives me some good info. I doubt i'll beable to bench 250, or even 200 for that matter any time soon. My max is about 170 i believe but that was hydraulic which I find a lot easier than freeweight. freeweight max is probably somewhere around 150. I'm a pretty small guy though, I need some meat on my bones. I'm about 130lbs and 5'7" or so.
Once i'm out of college in 2 1/2 years then I'll probably go into some sort of army training. Thats why I ask the question. Long time till then, but If I can start off now and maintain that till then, I think I should be in pretty good shape. I'll have lots of time to get my strenght up.
