Thats b/c they were both produced by Jerry Bruckhiemer, that might have something to do with it

Those screens look alot better than that multiplayer demo. Looks like something i'll have to keep my eyes on.

I think the demo is excellent, I will definitely buy it, especially since it runs ok on 56K, well the demo does anyway

Just tried the demo and its not bad. Some of the weapons skins are a bit stretched out looking like the m-21 rifle. The minigun is horribly unrewarding, i expected to see shitloads of shells flying everywhere plus a massive muzzle flash but the gun seems to be firing about 3 rounds per rotation of the barrels and the sound just sucked.
The models are suprisingly well done although theyre nothing compared to some of the custom counterstrike models ive seen.
M4 reload animation is wrong, if the magaazine has been fully discharged you can't just slap a new magazine in and fire away as a new round hasn't been chambered. You need to press the charging handle on the right of the gun or pull back the bolt located at the rear of the gun.
Seems ok but i'll wait for full version to see whats improved.

I actually think the minigun is very good, I think it's the best minigun I've used in a game, and you're right about the Car-15 reload animation, you would need to chamber a new round.
By the way, when I looked at some Canadian Carbines (almost identical to XM or M4) I didn't have a lot of time to look at them, is the charging handle the part that sticks out on the right, just below the cocking handle?

Yup, charging handle looks just like a small button with a rod attached to it.

The best minigun in a video game is Resident Evil 2 for PSX hands down. I've mowed down a lot of zombies with that mofo.
Sorry for being off topic...

the m4 is a kick ass rifle, very very cool: looks good, accurate, light, compact, easy to use

Its basicaly a shortened m16. When you see the 2 of em together theres very few differences visually aside form overall length and the m4 has a different stock which i think is telescopic.

yes, the stock is telescopic, which is a very good thing, it can also fire fully automatic
