one of best of many has to b ENEMY AT THE GATES there is to many good war movies out there to find the best one,but bob is exelent too even if it is a tv show cool:

Dude dont joke on 1941 that movie is fucking funny as shit. Anyway SPR got my vote, i love BoB, definatly a classic masterpiece of a show, but i dunno SPR just had more....appeal is the word im looking for?

All of the ones you asked sucked except Band of Brothers. SPR was too inaccurate although the acting was the best. I haven't seen the longest day yet but I plan on ordering the movie online. The two best WW2 movies I have seen are A Bridge Too Far and To Hell and Back with Lt. Audie Murphy. That movie is sweet because Audie Murphy plays himself, and...um...abecuase I said so! mad: It's based off of his story of his experience in WW2. Catch it on TV, it's awesome.

Nah, me has to go along with Saving Private Ryan... although the story line is shot to pieces, it really does give you somesort of taste as to what it might have been like in the war.

As for band of brothers, its not a movie :P

Well said...Its a travesty most dont know about Tora Tora Tora! I have that on dvd, man it is 100 times better than that jerry bruckheimer holywoodized garbage pearl harbor.

The first 15 min of SPR rocks!!!! Enemy at the gates was a sick movie too...
I like Where Eagles Dare..but i'm not sure if that was WW1.
