yea over the last 2 weeks i have noticed my ping has been gettin higher and higher i have seen me sitting at 110 ping in a uk server (i am from the uk) and i have a ntl 1mbit connection i have tried everything i can thing of, i have used visualroute,ping plotter and usually the ping is between 20-45, i even reduced my rate,maxpackets and snaps. mad:
I phoned my isp they said there was no problems with my line and i have did a full AV scan,last night i reformatted my HD reinstalled everything and still pings are quite high for my type of connection
and i know it aint spec related as i have a P4 2.6 Ghz (overclocked to 3.2 ghz) 1mb ram and GF4 TI4600. ed:

now short of calling in mulder and scully has anyone any ideas or can u see something i aint tried. eek:
