I heard about a woman who was given anesthetic but given it wrong (in some way) It made her paralyzed but she could feel everything, which made her unable to scream that she could feel it.. They were doing surgery on her.

Heh, I know the pain. When I was playing soccer a couple years back I was running and I stepped in a pothole, fucked up my ankle pretty bad. Surgery is no biggy. They do that shit with lasers now, I think.
