Well Deadbolt, you may know me pretty well from chats, but I agree on what he did. The Police Officer did the same thing I would of done (I had that heppen to me as a teen driving without my glasses). That traffic stop, when I was 16, took such a positive effect on me, that years later I would become one. There has only been a few times that I have stopped a minor for curfew, and had the car towed, issued 3-5 citations, and had the parents come pick him/her from the station. I am not a cop who is a prick, but I will tell you a few things that will help anyone in a traffic stop.

First, DO NOT reach for your wallet or move until the Officer comes to your car. (Moving will only make the Officer more suspicious)

Second, Tell the officer what you are going to do before you do it. Example: When reaching for wallet/insurance cards. (This helps you gain his/her trust)

Third, Dont give any attitude. This will only make things worse. (I find more tickets to write if I get attitude....They will too)

Fourth, Tell the truth, admit your mistake. Most times if you are completly honest, they will cut you a break. I do... Always tell the Officer "Thank You" even if you are mad from the outcome. Remember, we put our lives on the line for you!

Just remember those 4 things and it will make the stop more pleasant.

By the way, the fastest I ever stopped was a VERY HOT lady. She was going 79 in a 35. Sadly I must say that she was issued a ticket. Not just 1, but 3 and had her car towed. Speeding, no insurance (automatic tow), and expired plates.

Meh....I don't have much respect for cops down here these days.

I've witnessed brutality first-hand. Infact, a friend of mine took a photo of a young guy getting the shit beaten out of him for talking back to the police, at a party down here. It was awful to see it happen, people started calling shit out to the cops, and eventually somebody threw a bottle and they put the guy they were beating in a paddywagon....Still, it's truly awful to see. To bad it's taken with a bollocks disposable camera....I'll try and get it scanned and post it....

I've also been talked to numerous times by the police, I've never been caught for anything or arrested. The most amusing encounter happened about a year ago when I was fair-liquored up and taking a piss out the front fence of a party, along come the police riot-squad, torches in hand....I get a fucking spot-light on me, mid-piss...."HEY! What the hell are you doing? That's disgusting!" He says.... I was so embarresed I tucked my piece in and scampered into the shadows.
