Come on!
it's just JK-2 with new skins and things.

you people got fished bigtime.

anyways I hope the next Star Wars shooter is less Jedi crap and more like playing as Han Solo or a New Republic/Alliance commando.

It's really funny hwo the movies say there are very few Sith and they are mysterious and hard to spot. Yet in Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight 2 there is a shitload of Sith and they're all being attention whores.

In Jedi Knight 2, Luke was a Master. So thats after Return of the Jedi stage. Am I right? The Star Wars 1 and 2 Luke wasnt even born yet and the Sith were rare. Am I wrong?

It looks amazing! Hopefully the gameplay won't be riddled with confusing and maddening jumping puzzles and other crap.

I wanna shoot and slice...pull, grip, and slice, with the occasional push over a ledge. Is that so WRONG?!?!

Nothing beats Force-Choking someone, and throwing them off a ledge, or chucking them into a wall, hehe

Actually, wait, get the lowdown on the storyline and THEN pass judgement.

And if your reffering "fished" as to being duped into thinking this game is not real, think again. wink:

I also would like an Alliance/New Republic or Empire Commando team based shooter, would be a good change, but I like the Jedi powers and love the Lightsabers, so I have no problems, plus, Jedi kick ass.

Sith are not in great numbers, what you are referring too is Dark Jedi. There are many Dark Jedi in the Star Wars universe, but there are always only 2 Sith. Dark Jedi are fallen Jedi Knights. Both were hunted by the Sith (Emperor Palpatine and Vader).

Back in the days of the Old Republic though there were thousands of each. Play teh upcoming Knights of the Old Republic and get an idea of the history of Star Wars, or read some Dark Horse Star Wars comic books dealing with the Old Republic and the Sith Wars...thats if you give a fuck... biggrin:

Well said Wook. KoTOR is going to be great too. A SW RPG made by Bioware, oh yeah!

3dgamers.com has those screenshots for a different Star Wars Game...Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Either those screens are for both games, or someone fugged up.

Yeah, I can't wait for that RPG.

Jedi Knight II was OK, but it was too short for me. I like RPG's where you can get into the story more.

OK, A few things:

1) For those of you who thought it was fake: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/jediacademy/

2) [quote:52c1a]when u downlaod JKii Skins where do u save them 2?[/quote:52c1a]

[quote:52c1a]7. How do I get downloaded files to work in JK2?
A. All files downloaded at JK2Files.com are in .zip format. To open .zip files you need a program called WinZip. You can download WinZip's free trial version (it has no limits to its usage so it's pretty good!).
When you open the .zip file, USUALLY you will find two files inside. 1 .pk3 file and 1 readme.txt file (note: some zips can contain multiple pk3's and sometimes screenshots of the file).
Select the .pk3 file and click on the "Extract" button in the top menu.
A new window will pop up asking where to extract to. In the little file browser window navigate to your "GameData/base" directory.
Then press the "Extract" button.
If all things went well, you should find the .pk3 file is now in your 'base' folder.
Load up JK2 and you should find your skin/map/model in the menu.[/quote:52c1a]

3) [quote:52c1a]anyways I hope the next Star Wars shooter is less Jedi crap and more like playing as Han Solo or a New Republic/Alliance commando.[/quote:52c1a]

Hence, SW: Galaxies. RPG mixed with a little FPS.
