I'm in the process of buying a new PC actually, scraping my money barrel I got a spare Â£350, gettin a P4 3.0ghz, 512mb DDR with 120HD hopefully so I can throw out my ol' Celeron 950, tee hee. Less of Wipeout, Dungeon Keeper and Full Throttle and more of Half Life 2, Doom 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R Black and White 2, etc dance:

Cheers, well I'll upgrade to a gig eventually I guess, I'm just either awaiting a ready-built system from ebay or permission to discuss parts to build it with a friend, he will do it for nothing prolly

If it doesn't play HL2 then fuck it, theres no point, its #1 on my wanted list, always has been.

Any cheap-ish graphics cards that will run hl2 well? like a good solid 50 fps all the time..... I only have a Geforce FX 5200 to play around with right now, god knows how that'll do, I mean it'll play it but will it reach decent fps's...
