He shouldn't have gotten her shit, a relationship shouldn't be based off what your significant other buys you for some fucking Hallmark Holiday.

Maybe some flowers and a meaningful trinket for your anniversary or something nice for her birthday, but I'll be god damned if I'm forking over or her forking over large sums of money for shiny bits of metal and compressed coal or whatever.

You shouldn't need to lavish your boyfriend/girlfriend in gifts to have them like you. IMHO.

lol, what a bitch, my ex got a bit upset when i got her flowers, but it was cause she thought it was a waste of money. when women expect shit out of you like to the point where you actually have a fight or 'discussion about 'your' problem,' then you know she needs to get the boot or set straight.
