I go to a Southern Baptist Church, but when someone asks me, i say that I am a Christian. Like the Duke said, it is a personal relationship between you and God. So, do I practice an "organized" religion? No, I do not. But I am a christian, and it is between me and God.

God did not create the world in seven days. "In the Beginning there was the Heaven and the Earth." No mention of days there.
As far as creation goes, I believe that the "days" mentioned in teh first of Genisis are not days as we know them. The word day is mentioned
before God created day/night. There also is no time to God, so I believe that the days were added to put it into perspective, and to structure our week.
Also, I have no problem with the Big Bang theory, or even minor evolution. Many christians would chastise me for saying that, but the way i see, mabey God made this huge chunk of matter, and then set up the laws of physics, and let it happen. Mabey some microbes did evolve into dinosaurs and such. Possibly even into "Hominids" such as the fossills that scientists have found.
Hewbrew word for "void" in the Second verse of the Bible, "And the earth was without form, and void", is a word that means there was something there before, but it had been removed. This could show why there are so many old fossils and such. Then again, it might not, that is just a possibillity that has crossed my mind.
