The initial survival is almost entirely based on LUCK: it depends on where you
are when it begins and how far you are from your first objective. That said, I'm
pretty sure once I secure a firearm, I would seriously increase my odds of
survival for the first two weeks. After that, it depends on other factors like how
the actual infection spreads (no problem with local water supplies for a while if it
doesn't hurt you) and where you're located.

I'm a realist so I don't give myself good odds of surviving. If I'm home, OK...

I like akumas idea of camping the top of a skyscraper. Dont go on the L trains. the zombies will pile themselves up and sacrifice eachother just to stop the train.

Weapons: D-eagle, dual p-90's, AK-47, auto shotty, crate of nades, if I can get it a mini gun. If ammo runs out then my trusty K-BAR and moltave cocktails.

you should read zombie survival guide before going for all the stereoypical weapons, like heavy machine guns and shotguns, which are terrible against zombies... Give me a good 'ol carbine and a katana....

As far as I'm concerned, whatever works well in movies should work well in our "scenarios" seeing as it is ALL fiction. Zombies AREN'T real. So heavy weapons and shotties will do fine....

^You're right for the most part, but then again, there's so many variations in these movies tat it's hard to tell. We've gone from limping, retarded zombies who crave brains, to sprinting, semi-smart zombies who have a thirst for intestines. I'd just wait to see what they did, then get weapons accordingly.

Slow Zombies = Heavy Weaponry so you can sit back and kick ass.

Fast Zombies = Lightweight weaponry so you can hightail your ass outta there.
