Okay Jasper , i think maybe my main problem may be this old mike I'm using. I bought it several years ago for my old PC and since I hardly ever use a mike I've never gotten another. It works okay for recording .wav's but may not be sensitive enough or something for this purpose , it was a cheapie anyways...... I've decided to go out this weekend and buy a headset with a boom mike and I'd like to get a good one. Any suggestions as to brand and model ??? Under $50 please. biggrin:
Well I guess the old broken mic thing is contagious. My prob turned out to be an old mic as well, I've got two more to try then ill be stoping at BestBuy myself. Ok then hiope to speak-up soon. evil:\
P.S. Hows the sound quality on those headsets, been using a pair of Sony Studio/remix headphones that I paid a pretty-penny for.
Bestbuy , Wooo Woot , my favorite store . Yeah, that's where I was gonna go anyways , better selection than most. ................. Thanks Rude, hope to get this thing working sometime this weekend.
schweet, my camping buddy has come through, hehe, thanks jasper, will get teamspeak asap and try this out tomorrow night
btw, my bestbuy had a deal for 15 bux for some cheap labtec headset, mic works but I cant get the headphones to work, but give me time, I'll find a way, hehe
