Default I need of a Config to run a Dedacated Server - 10-11-2002, 11:06 AM

I am looking for a Config and what it looks like to run a dedacated server
for my Team. I have looked at Bull's and what he wrote but it wont work.
The server doesnt show up on the game list. I followed all the way and how he wrote it and added what i needed to put it for the server. But it wont run
So if someone has a Config for a dedacted server can u take a screenshot and post it so that way i can see what i am doing wrong and fix it. My Team
needs a server to practrice and play on and i have the time and the server
to run it. I hope that someone can help me on this it will be gladly apreciated cool:

Ok here are a couple more to look at:
the aa.com server configs- http://mohaa.xgshosting.com/
Also in the Guides section is one by Archangel and if you search the forums (which by the way is very easy to do!) you will find dozens more.
Now, what makes you so sure its not working? Just because it dont show on GSpy doesnt mean it doesnt work. Have someone try connecting by your IP.
Which brings up another point: how is the server connecting to the internet?
Give us some more info before you blame the config files: are you on a DMZ, behind a router or firewall, etc, etc.

Well i am on a Linskys Router and and have a Cable connection 10 MB down
1 MB up also i have not run it thru Game Spy i ran it from the Intrenet
Servers list so i didnt look at Game Spy at all but it should have shown up
But i thank you for taking the time to at least point me in the right direction
I wasnt blaming the Config files persay i was just asking if i had made the
config file the right way so thats why i asked for that Config so that way i can see what was my mistake that i may have made and try to correct it.

If your game server is behind your router. You will need to forward the correct ports to your box, that's running the MOH server.

If you just want to give your clients an IP ( your team ) then just forward only the 12203 port.

If you want everyone to see your server so you get new players to join. You will need to forward all the game spy ports.
Check out dogmeats port guide
http://tfo.servebeer.com/file-guides-portlist.html

If you wish send me your server.cfg file to jlandi@cox.net. I will take a look and see if all is well. Just remember to remove your rcon password

Rudedog tried to send you that serverpref.cs to you but it was rejected due
your email being full. I will try to send to you later on.

Yes, the file not being in .CFG format could be a big reason why it won't work, heh (that was sarcasm)
