intelligence reports that this sunday the 13th of october the aa.com server will be invaded by strik0r's god damn rifle zoom mod ckr version compliments of rudedog. the intention was to make rifles a tad bit more attractive since MGs are usually used as automatic rifles. the only changes in the entire thing is a minor non-scoped zoom on the garand and kar. everything else is identical to ckr 2.0 with the garand reload allowed.

don't think that's fair? fine, go back to your mgs. like rifles but don't like the zoom? fine, nobody is forcing you to use the zoom.

I dont mind ... When i first started playing i found a mod that scoped all the weapons ... even in single player .. pretty fun. I miss ckr 1.0 tho oOo:
The bar is such a p.o.s. in 2.0. It takes 10 rounds to kill someone. 1.0 you could fire in burst and kill with one hit. I dont even mind the slow walking.
Evenone had to cry until they made the stg and bar equal. Now there are mods where the r.o.f. for the bar is equal to the stg .. god it sucks !!!!

yes there was a similar one made but it uses stock files, and stock rifles with zoom in a CKR server is a little pointless so i made one myself.

judas i don't know what you mean about the BAR, i never had that problem with it at all.

Judas , I've noticed that it takes a couple more hits with the BAR for a kill lately, I thought I was just missing the target. biggrin: I also noticed that you move a bit faster with the M1. I didn't know that CKR had been tweaked.

yep it works just like a sniper zoom except without the scope, it hides your weapon model but the muzzle flash is still there, i don't know how to do anything about that tho. i'll have to test the BAR out too, now that i think of it i have been a little rifle/smg/rocket happy lately angel:

Hey judas, find the all rifle mod and lets set up a rifles only day. its up to you.

As for the CKR, I hope I did not mess up the CKR mod. I mean when XGS hosting had to reinstall my MOH they wiped everything. I had to up it from my archives. so I hope I did not up the wrong version. I will check on that later today.

Actually, I thought the BAR is pretty close to the STG in ROF for the real life weapons. At least that is what I have seen.

BAR has 550 RPM where the STG has 500 RPM, the fire delay on the BAR in mohaa is 0.12 where the fire delay on the STG is 0.086

seems a little off to me but i think the lower ROF on the BAR make up for the 10 round clip difference

I don't really see the point in this to be honest, you're basically making the garand a semi automatic sniper rifle. Medal of honor online is a piss poor piece of shit as far as im concerned but adding a zoom to the garand like this is a bit daft imo. I can see the argument about allowing the garand to relaod whenever you need as this could be done in real life.

People will most likely switch from being anoying cunts with the mg's to being annoying cunts with rifles now :/

Would it be possible fro crowking to edit his mod from being one where the mg's rule all to something that even REMOTELY resembles realism? ie: not having every wanker using bar's and stg's to fucking snipe you from across the map.
