Rest your case? Most murders are done by illegal and unregistered guns, not by the guns that they sell at Wal-Mart or a gun shop. So you rest no case. It really ticks me off when people think that making guns illegal will just automatically get rid of them. You're an idiot if you don't think there is something called a 'black-market'.

divingdw, I couldnt agree more! Back to the question, you can own a rifle even younger if its bought for by your parent. If you family is into hunting you can legally hunt b4 you are 18. As for joining the NRA there is no age limit. The Eddie Eagle Program is an awesome thing it teaches gun saftey and I would HIGHLY recomend it. You should also take a hunters safety course.

NYC rules have changed.

The only type of rifle you can own in NYC is a hunting, bolt action rifle. NO SEMIS, NO FULL AUTOS. You also can't own a Baretta pistol, unless you're a cop.

PS: You better not be pulling a Washington DC stunt!

I rest this case......Shut the fuck up. evil:

Murders are still committed with legal pistols. YOU'RE an idiot if you believe otherwise.

Explain to me why any citizen would need to own a pistol?
