Well, start reading the other 20 posts about the change of date from Friday to Saturday. That's why there's an Announcement @ the top of this forum: To get rid of these dumb posts!

i just checked my email and got the usual gamespy daily newsletter, mohaa being right near the top with this:
" Sometime today, FilePlanet will premiere the multiplayer demo of Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead -- the expansion pack to the incredible World War II action game. As a special bonus, you can enjoy a Trial Subscription of the lightning-fast downloads that FilePlanet subscribers enjoy every day. Get a taste of the popular download service so you can spend time playing the game instead of waiting in line. Think of it as an early holiday gift from your friends at GameSpy and Electronic Arts! "
so i think it will be out in a few hours, might want to keep an eye on EAs ftp server too. youd think it would be there first.

Man, they must love the amount of traffic their websites are getting from the anticipation of a release like this. Think of all the exposure other games are getting... eek:
BTW, does anybody else have a problem with EA's SH site? The damned menu doesn't load correctly for me. oOo:

For the guys with the gamespy account (just got mine for spearhead) Can you usually count on Gamespy/fileplanet to release demos when they say they will?
Just wondering

Yea, theyll probably release SPEARHEAD at like the absolutey LATEST possible, so that they can get MAXIMUM web-site hits.
I say screw it and wait till FILEFRONT get's it. Why wait in line that long? Sorry but an account supporting those fools is not worth getting something 45-60 minutes ahead of everyone else.

For once, I agree with Ed. I can see FilePlanet releasing the demo @8PM tonight. UT2003 wasn't released until 4PM, but I think that's because the demo was upped on PST, and not EST.
