Default 5.1 surround and MOH - 11-11-2002, 08:43 PM

Just wondering...I recently bought a Creative Labs 5.1 surround sound system....and I've played MOH, and it sounds good...but is it 5.1 compatible? Because it seems like I should be getting more out of it.

I just upgraded my sound setup. I used either a sound blaster live, or aureal mx300 soundcard, hooked up to a 10 year old Onkyo Dolby pro-logic receiver. (the older aureal card was more stable, and they both sounded the same) Now, I have a soundblaster audigy soundcard and JVC dolby digital 5.1 receiver. I hear little difference in the sound output from before. Maybe I can guess better, now, where the sounds are coming from, but it's not that great a change.
