Ok i do not know what the hell is up with this but here i go

Ohh the kar....it was most everyones favorite sniper rifle so why take it away? Thats a good question. Even though the new sniper rifle is not a bolt action it still sucks. The kickback makes it bad. The kar was in SP but not MP i dont know whats with that either. We can only hope EA will hear this and maybe actually put it in a patch, but that wont happen. Anyway i hope im not the only one disappointed in the removal of the kar. Post any comments pllzz

I hear what you're saying. Many snipers lamented the KAR98 Sniper not being included in the MP side of Spearhead. While the Gewehr 43 is not a bad rifle, the German Jaegers much preferred the KAR98 because of it's superior range, accuracy, and reliability that the Gewehr did not have. Maybe if enough of us make an issue out of it, EA will release a patch.

It's all serversided. The admin of a server can choose to use the kar98 intead of G43.

No patch/mod needed.

You have to just place it in your MAIN folder in Spearhead, correct?

it isn't selected when you spawn because all i did was replace the g43 tik file with the one from the kar. if you change the name to G 43 it will select when you spawn but the animations are all fucked up and i don't really feel like messing with it that much biggrin:

oh sure you can easily change the name on it to G 43 but then it acts like the G 43 in every animation and the scope is zoomoverlay.

Oook been busy but im surprised this many ppl posted replies...
Of course you could do some of things suggested but not all the games have it... and u no that jus sucks. I mean im certain most everyone wants the kar back. Ea should do something about this tradegy lol. I think Ea should give what the ppl want.
