Best part is it seems to be running in realism mode, now lets see, oh yes you should be perfectly capable of leaning over to the side whilst running along full pelt and firing a machinegun... Kinda defeats the purpose of realism mode does it not? eek:

I can barely play without it !!! Have you tried to nudge up against a corner and look around ? If you miss, you end up jumping up and down trying to position yourself at the edge, or hanging out over the edge. And no , i dont lean strafe bind , but find it easier to aim while leaning in one direction or the other. Probably because i have learned to aim around corners so well ...

For someone thats learned to lean round corners so well how come you supposodly have so much trouble doing it without leanstrafe? I honestly don't know how you find it hard without it on. Go to edge of wall, press lean button. How much more simple can it be?

#1, Gerard, if it's such a big deal to you that ppl not be allowed to lean while moving, then stfu and just stop playing there... by flaming Judas or Rude (who you're actually trying to piss off with this thread) you're only showing what a complete idiot you are in the first place. I only have one thing to say in that regard: start paying for your own server @ $79+/month so you can customize it how YOU see fit... and then see if anyone wants to play on it... You may get some... but they won't be the aa.comers (the old skool gang) which have a class all their own.

Another thing you have to figure out is that not only are they paying for this server, but they're also busting their arses to come up with the best map lists, etc., for the regulars... If you don't like one feature then go to hell. They didn't ask you to come along to begin with. And don't plan on hanging out on AAN anytime soon with that attitude, either... the second you open your mouth about anything on that server you'll find your ass hung out to dry with us faster than you can say "If I could just keep my big ass mouth shut..."

Oh, and have you thought about the fact that it's just a frickin' game? When you play poker, do you not play by the dealer's rules? Or do you tell everyone to stop because you need the ace you have in your sleeve? Play by the rules of the man who's in charge, stfu and like it! Or stop wasting our time... simple as that..

As for trying to piss people off i love how you see it that way. I ask a legit question in response to judas post and he can't answer it, instead he post's 2 smileys and thinks "well i got outta that one".

What was so insulting about the question? The fact that when he says he can't lean round corners properly without having run\strafe enabled? Is it so hard to go to the edge of a corner and press the lean button? Even a 5 year old could probably do it time and again.

In my initial question im not flaming anyone. It seems prettty redundant to me to have a server running in *REALISM MODE*(you can grasp the REALISM concept can't you??) and then to enable a completly unrealistic feature.

I've gone to the AAN or whatever mistakenly thinking it was the AA.COM server - looks VERY similar in server name...that can't have been just a simple coincedence.

In any case, I agree with Gerard in that this server -which so far has strived for a "realistic" tone - has gone the way of the dinosaur and kept lean-strafe on. It IS difficult to shoot someone in the head while they are hoping around back and forth. It is NOT realistic, it add's nothing to the server except to give those skilled with it an advantage over others not so.

And it is HARDLY that much of a hardship to readjust yourself after leaning around a wall. At the very least fast run is off, but here's hoping a poll is started and we can take that crap off once and for all.

And if I'm not mistaken, RUDE is the ONLY one paying for the majority of that server (if not ALL of it).
