When every i go into multiplayer so i can pick a map to run around on to check it out, the map starts to load then stop and the game crashes out and goes back to my desk top,

any ideas

Might be a conflicting mod. Take all your custom pk3s out of the main and mainta folder. Then try again.

Yea I have that same problem. It's wierd. I'll try taking out that shit, like Akuma said.

If that dosent work, with Spearhead installed, try booting up several MOHAA maps to ensure MOH still works. Then, run configure.exe for spearhead in the MOH directory.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM

I had this problem when trying out a modified UBERSOUND.scr file! I wanted to create it to hear all the sounds in SH, but it crashes the game after around 25% of loading time.

Get rid of all the custom maps, then try it again.
