Default MOH:AA video and crashing problems! - 12-05-2002, 01:15 PM

I just installed MOH:AA and the 1.1 patch. I go to play and my screen refresh rate goes back to 60hz and the screen is cut down and sort of deformed like the trapazoid. I change from the default resolution to 1024x768. The problem still remains. I'm using Win XP and I know that the 60hz thing is a known problem but I have coolbits (OCing utility) and I'm using the refresh rate override thing to make sure my screen stays at 75hz. And it works fine in UT2003. But it doesn't work with MOH:AA, I've been in the options and found nothing that seems to help.

So I decided to play anyway and let me tell you, I love this game! Its so awesome, until about 10 minutes into play the game crashes and I get the little microsoft error report window with the option to send the problem to microsoft or "dont send". I choose "dont send" and try to play the game again. This time I do the training mission and the same thing happens again after a while.

I think the video problem has to do with MOH:AA running in OpenGL mode. But I have no idea about the other problem. If you have any ideas or have had similar problems, please let me know what you did.

thanks.
