IS MY CD BROKE?

Hi! I've just installed MOHAA & when I click on the desktop icon, I get an error message saying that I have the incorrect CD in my drive. Then when I press ok to cancel the message, MOHAA aborts.

Do I have a faulty CD or am I doing something wrong?

Anyway my PC specs are:
Amd 1.3 Ghz
80 GB
385 SD Ram
56x Cd Rom
Leadtek 64mb Geforce 2 MX400
Win XP (I tried the above with Win 98 & it still bombed on me) cry:

Please help me out, I really don't what to do & the deadline to return the CD expires on Friday!

well i would suggest a no-cd crack but such discussions are banned here, but you can always find what you need on some *cough* *****cough*

yeah in all honesty i have owned AA for a while but fuck me if i can find those damned disks now.

mmm... i had that problem to, but i fixed it only by putting disk 1 back in the drive.

Ummm, you should have TWO MOH:AA disks. Disk 2 is the one you want in the drive.

And what do you mean the deadline to return the CD is friday? Did you rent it or something?

If it is a burned copy it will do that! You normally have to use the no cd crack. I don't know what to tell you if it's the original. Like someone said, take it back, get a new copy! I only play with the second disk so that should not be a problem!

DO you have two CD-ROMS? If you do, make sure the MOH disc is in the CD-ROM drive you installed from.

LOL! Hiya! Thanks for replying so fast everyone, I really appreciate it! freak:

You guys have been a GREAT help & I've realised that I might have a "fake copy". Afterall it was WAY to cheap to be an original, however it does have a genuine CD Key, bookelt & sprayed cd.

As for my problem, I explored the 2nd cd & found a folder called Patches & well installed it, now everything seems peachy.

Gotta say MOHAA is dam awesome, I'm throwing down Flashpoint & signing up.

By the way are my specs ok? Anything I should tweak?

Hi! Sorry, I was just wondering what you meant by my signature, is the whole ASSASSINS thing too rude? If so let me know & I can always change that.

I know whatcha mean about modems, it stinks sitting around with a 48 bps connection, we dont even have decent ISDN. We only have 1 phone co, so theres a monopoly & prices are pathetic.

The deadline meant when he could replace the dodgy good with a refund.
