Hey band of brothers,
I have only recently been awoken to the world of Medal of Honor, not in the least due to the Band of Brothers TV series. I quickly went out and snapped up MOH and MOH Underground for my old PSX and finished them both within a week or two.
Being a poor student however (poor in the economic sense), my gaming platforms are restricted to my old PSX and the family puter which has an Intel Celeron, 766 MHz. I downloaded the Allied Assault demo and it is quite playable, although slightly choppy whenever myself and the friendly Airborne rangers engage with any nasty Nazis. I've fiddled with the video and sound options but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
I was wondering if anyone has any tips on improving performance or whether the full version of MOHAA might be a little more forgiving?? Or is it simply a case of get a newer Pentium or a dreaded PSX 2.
700 mhz or faster p3 or Athlon
32 mb or greater supported openGL
128 mb ram
8x cd rom
1.2 gig free hd
windows NT not supported
Though if you want to play mohaa on a 700 processor you'll need a nice video card. My old combo of 700 Duron, ATI 7500 64DDR, 512 ram, ran mohaa on top notch setting with acceptable frames except on Omaha, just dont dilly dally on the beach and you were fine.
If your computer falls short of that and you want to experiance mohaa, not just go through it with it looking like crap. Then the cheap option is buy the PS2 or X-box, and get Mohaa: Frontline. The con version of Mohaa, not an exact copy mission wise. It looks pretty and does feel like mohaa.

hey, im running a p4 1.6 ghz overclocked to 1.9ghz, and a 475mhz fsb, with 256 mb ram, radeon 7500 64 mb ddr. the game runs completely smooth in single and multi, except in omaha, an a couple of slowdowns. i recommend the 7500 for the average mohaa gamer, it was cheap ($81 canadian) and is better than any geforce 2
