that was a kickass movie, i wish band of brothers was a movie but its a mini-series,
the thin red line was a good contemporary war movie,a bridge too far was also good, but my fav would have to stalingrad that was good.
i don't know if this is classified as a war movie but schinler's list was good its the only movie that made me cry
shut up! it wasn't really crying it was more sobbing, er, i had something in my eye

1.HAMBURGER HILL
2.Apocalypse now
3.Saving Prviate Ryan
4.Pearl Harbor(the new and Old version)
5.They were Expendable( John Wayne WWII movie)
6.The Longest Day (Yet another excellent WWII movie Feat.John Wayne)
7.MIDWAY! (badass WWII movie)
These are just a few of the Greatest WAr movies of all time....well that IS my opinion
just because it is old, don't mean it didn't rock!!!!! ALL you older guy know what I mean.

Praise the Medics...and pass the ammunition
I think SPR was pretty historically correct, of course they may have done a few things wrong but there are actually many little details that most ppl may not notice, like when they look at a map u can see al the routes and things that were actually taken in the operations....and u can here certain ppl talking in the background about a different operation....there are even signs in the french villages pointing to other towns that were important like Cherbourg and stuff. I also saw small german signs on walls too....there are many little details, but of course some things that make it innaccurate too.
Well spr screwed up on a load of stuff. IF you go to imdb.com and check out the goofs they made its madness.
Even the SS division they were fighting at the end of the movie. When they blow up the german halftrack one of them says its the 12th SS division, according to what ive read they weren't even in france at that time lol.
