How about it? A full game set in the Pacific. I think it would keep the series fresh.

I think a series like underround in Norway would be pretty neat, Eastern front is cool tho, I'd do pacific once there's good enough computers to give justice to jungle scenes in the game.

Wow that would be excellent, but only if they lined up and shot all the s/h team in front of the original 2005 team first.

If 2005 made it then things would be sweet, s/h turned me totally negative grrr

Um...Burma -yes, Phillipines -yes, Guam, Coral Sea, etc -yes...

But Vietnam didn't become a major focus other than a small French contingent and Ho Chi Minh's rebels until the 50's. In other words, well after WWII.

I'm not certain the Eastern Front would be such a brill idea as well unless it was late 42 (Stalingrad) or after. Any particular reasons why?

Yeah, but they still gave out Medals of Honor after WWII, ya?
Vietnam would be valid...it's just not WWII

WWI would be neat too. Lotsa trench warfare, artillery pulled by horses, neato brimmed helmets... biggrin:
