Does anyone know how to boot someone without having to create a shortcut and crap, because I don't want to have to leave the game. I am starting a server, and anyone using rockets will be booted, so I need to know how to boot someone, thanks

If you don't have the console, you can't boot anyone. Though once you put in the shortcut and stuff, you can boot people through the console.

yeah IF you can get it to come up while in the game.........noooooooooo the damn ~ key brings up the Chat window.....yesssssssssss I have the +developer 1 +set ui_console 1 SHIT at the shortcut line........the damn thing STILL won't come up in a game,but it comes up FINE at the Main menu......hmmmmmmmmmmm

ya need to edit your commandline to this

+set developer "1" +set ui_console 1

notice the quote marks around the 1 ?

Yeah thats the way to enable the console... Easy part... Kicking is also easy and so is clientkick # after typing STATUS to get the #.

But how in the hell do you BAN idiots from the game.... In quake you can ban a whole range of IPs so if they have a dynamic ip you can still ban em...
