1. Get Winzip
2. Get Photoshop
3. Open PAK1 in your EA GAMES/MOHAA/main folder using Winzip
4. Find the files zoomoverlay.tga(allied springfield) and Kartop.tga & Karbottom.tga (Axis Kar98 Sniper)
5. Edit these files to your liking. The zoomoverlay file is the allied rifle scope. It shows only 1/4 or 1 "corner" of the scope. This is mirrored and flipped (made to fit the 4 corners) to fill the screen. The Kartop & Karbottom files are for the Axis rifle scope. The Kartop makes up the top half (again its only the left side and looks like a "corner") and the Karbottom makes up the bottom (only 1/4 of the scope).
6. Save these files using Winzip. Make sure you check "all file types" and put .pk3 at the end. You'll have to save them in a folder system as follows: /textures/hud/karbottom.tga; kartop.tga; zoomoverlay.
7. I'd name it something like "user-scope1". So its easy to find. The file system is very important. Just creat a new folder on your desktop called "textures" and a new folder within that called "hud". Then save everything you do in that. Simple right?
Thats as basic as it gets. I'll answer any questions you have to the best of my ability. I'll probably get dicked over because of the lack of an edit button on this one, but I think thats all right.
