Deadly Aim Tournament -
01-24-2003, 07:21 PM
To all MoH:AA players:
D.A.T. - Deadly Aim Tournament will hopefully be open to register soon. The exact date is not known yet, but I will update you all as soon as I know.
This tournament will involve MoH:AA and possibly Spearhead.
Huge cash prizes are rewarded for the winners. Each clan will have to pay an entrance fee of $10-$30, the exact price is not decided yet. We will have monthly tournaments, and the tourney will be well supervised.
I am giving you this advanced announcement, so you may discuss with your clans about entering before the registration starts. I will try to keep all of you posted as much as I can.

wow, considering Airborne is like 19875298 lbs over weight and probably eats more than a fat-club visit to the local buffet, wow, that's alot of shit coming out of his ass! I think that's a cheap price considering what you get.

Well, I guess at this moment there's no way i can prove that this isn't a scam, except for my word which obviously won't weigh much to people across the internet. After talking with the other admin's, the launchdate for the tournament is going to be postphoned most likely, and try to find solutions for this issue. But, every tournament/league has to start somewhere, and every tournament/league has to establish trust somehow. If you choose not to enter, that's okay, wait until month 2 or month 3 when trust isn't so much of a un-established issue.

The website will hopefully be open in 1-2 weeks, and that will give all the information needed. In the meantime, I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Hello again.
After receiving several comments and suggestions from many different sites, we've decided that the first month or two of the tournament will be free of charge. We will still give prizes to the winners, but the prizes will not involve direct cash. We will give a different variety of MOHAA related prizes, such as a free dedicated server for an amount of time or a free dedicated TeamSpeak server for your clan so it is accessable around the clock and does not lag the hosts ping.
After the free entrance-fee period is over, we will start charging per clan, and then give away cash prizes. We do plan to have host an Allied Assault tournament each month as well as a Spearhead tournament.
We hope to get the site up soon, although an exact date is still not set. I will try to continue to keep you posted.
M-Fuggs - D.A.T. Admin.
P.S. - We also hope that D.A.T. will suit as a fine TWL replacement for the time-being.

YOU don't have to. It's $20/clan, not $20/person. Your clan can play in our first month or two free tourney's, but then it will cost money. Your clan can enter the same way each clan pays for their server, i.e. raising funds from each member. $20 is the absolute most we will charge, we will most likely charge $10-$15 a month. That's not settled either. For now, it is free though, so enjoy playing, and enjoy the prizes! angel:

ok I'm stilling trying to get this rite. I, or my clan, could enter any one of the many ladders for FREE and win reputation, some times money, and other valuable resources OR I/we, could pay to enter your somewhat of a unorganized tournament and get big cash prizes that'll be split up between 10 guys probally reulting in my part of the entrance fee...
WOW! But I still stand by my deal of : "I tell ya what, you pay me $10-$30, and I'll play in your tournament, and for a limited time offer of just $5.99 more, you can lick my asshole! WOW! Now that is a deal! "
