This is from Noctis's site, movv.com. There's a pic of a M113 APC, but why the hell does it say "LIFT HERE" on the top-right front corner? I've driven these for about three years now, and the only thing up there is the radiator cap, a tow hook, and that's about it. The drivers hatch is on the other side, and the engine door opens from the middle bottom. Any ideas? oOo:
Meh, BW is probably right. I've never seen that though, nor do I know what it can be lifted from. Unless the games engine just didn't put in the crane hooks. Whatever. .
During Vietnam the carriers hooks were built in to the frame (sort of an indented bar) to keep from getting them filled and snagged on things. From the side looking at the carrier you could not see that the hooks for hookup were there, so they painted lift here on the side to show where the hooks were.
