Default what fps should i be able to get? - 02-04-2003, 01:01 PM

i have a readon 9700 pro and xp 2100 processor ,when i bring up the fps its only about 42 this seems low,i have most settings at medium,1024 /768 res i get 12200 on 3d mark thing, do i need to tweak it? sometimes i get a low memory message ,but i have 512,appreicate any advice,thanks

No, this is just about right. You might want to look into a program called RivaTuner to optimize your refresh rates for OpenGL games.

Also, you might want to use DirectX 9, make sure you have the latest video drivers for your RADEON.

i have a similar setup as you do and i am using a command i heard about com_maxfps 250. i am able to get the fps up to 130 but it rarely does. usually around 60 to 90.

Hmm I have a Ti 4600 and I get 50-150+ fps with al settings maxed in sh with a 1280/1024 res. I thought the radeon was much faster than the GF4?

Man i have a Radeon 8500LE, started with an FPS of 30-50 played around with it now i easily clock around 100-230.

I have a 2100+ and 9700 Pro, and I run MOH at 1024x768x32 4xAA/16xAF and all detail setting maxed (shadows off).

It depends on the map, and the amount of action going on, but I usually get 60-100fps.
