isnt it odd that in the movies of MOH, and the sp demo. its pretty much the same EXACT thing as saving private rayan. I E the conversation with the engineer about those metal things ( ohh gosh i forgot what their called) and tons of other things throughout the omaha movie... and in the sp demo where u just happen to take out a half track then two 101'st airborne guys come out and you go talk to him... god im supprised the main characters name isnt like thomas hanks or something like that... cant ea come up with something more original????????

hmm maybe because medal of honor was created by steven spielgberg? inspired by spr, maybe because dreamworks interactive er whatever its called now helped? |

That's a fairly bold statement, sure there are some similarities (omaha especially) but it's hardly the same. Personally I wouldn't give a damn if it was, I love that movie.

What "Metal things"? Of course a lot of things were borrowed from SPR, and the game was made by Dreamworks (SPR was too) and Spielberg produced the MOH series and this game is pretty much a version of SPR. But you dont know too much about WWII so you may not realize that many of the things in SPR are just general things from WWII so u may happen to see them in MOHAA.

The same military expert that was on the set of SPR, also contributed to MOH:AA. I heard this from a gamespot video preview or something like that. |

Those "metal things" are called hedgehogs.

nVidiot: Human being brainwashed by false statements and propaganda from nVidia Corp. into believing all things GeForce are of the highest of superiority and defy all logical grounds of video cardness. Belief in 3Dmark2001 Benchmark scores regardless of quality, functionability, and compatability is a common worship and religion of these fundamentalists. However do not take these poor souls lightly they are armmed heavily with propeganda, false statements, DetonatorXPs, and GeForces. Remember nVidiots come in all shapes and sizes. Be on guard or you will be assimilated.

Why do you care if some levels look a lot like spr? Only 4 missions can really be the same ( omaha, french town, where Wade gets shot, the bridge) so you still have many levels that have nothing to do with spr. I would be glad if those 4 levels where the same, cause I love that movie and we still have enough missions that are totally different. |

They are hedgehogs, and you should know they were all up and down the French coast. So the fact that the Omaha level had them is hardly a direct SPR reference.

However, the words the AI say were very close, and the arrangement of the pillboxes, machine gun nests, and craters were damn near exactly the same as SPR.

The reason that it is exactly the same because EA games is actually owned by Dreamwork who helped produce Saving Private Ryan, so you can see why it is the same

Those "metal things" weren't hedgehogs, well the obsticales they were trying to blow up were, but what they used to blow them up are called Bangalore torpedoes.
