Default No more voices in my head - 02-18-2003, 02:37 PM

While playing Spearhead over the weekend all the taunts suddenly were silenced. I can hear all the other sounds in the game but the taunts are not audible. While this is not a big deal, it is a bit annoying. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Default The Bazooka-Joe Reinstall solved part of the problem - 02-19-2003, 09:05 AM

Well the good news is that the weapon sounds are back (they disappeared after I posted the original note above). Still no taunts however.
oOo:
Bizzare. Anymore ideas....Anyone?

btw, Joe, that Registry Cleaner is a great little app. Thanks for the tip and thanks for the reinstall cheat sheet.

I'm going to rinse and repeat on the reinstall this evening to see if I've done anything wrong. I'm also gonna wipe all the pk3's to see if maybe one of those is causing the prob. I've downloaded a lot of map files lately. Not sure if any of them could be interfering.

Any other ideas are more than welcome.

Yeah, I'd have to say that's about the last suggestion I have; remove your custom .PK3 files.

Off topic.

Here is a sticky for ya.

MoHAA Problem?
Uninstall, Reinstall.

That seems to be the general concensus when having problems.

Just my .02 worth.

One of them musta had a bug in it. freak:

It caused all the taunts to be inaudible as well as all the russian weapons....how's that for strange.

Moved the pk3s outta /mainta and the problem was resolved.
