Iraq to Destroy Missiles Within 24 Hours
(AP) - Iraq agreed Friday to begin destroying its Al Samoud 2 missiles within 24 hours, Iraqi sources said. Chief U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix, who set the Saturday deadline, called the decision "a very significant piece of real disarmament." The destruction of the finned white rockets is seen as a key test of Baghdad's resolve to disarm and avert a U.S.-led war. Predictably, the 11th-hour concession was greeted with celebration by governments opposed to war and skepticism by those advocating it.

sucks to be iraq the US is going to invade no matter what. now their saying they want the weapons gone as well as a regiem change. WTF? theirs nothing in the UN resolution about a regiem change. i dont see whats so big about these missiles anyways, they just go beyond iraqs boarder, it cant harm america in any way. i really hope the states gets a bloody nose over this whole iraq thing. maby that way they might find out that if they stick their nose where it dosent belong they might get stung.
