hello people as an admin of a server Ive added some new maps but my prob is this:

Its our own server which was made by a friend of mine on a backbone of an ISP, so i can change anything on it! I can make it FFA, DM, OBj whenever I want so my prob is that i added new maps some objective and some DM.

I have found a document that tells me how to change the map rotation...

seta sv_maplist "...."

the prob is that this config is the same for both objective and DM! if i set the maplist for objective and change DM then back to Obj will my map rotation change?

can i set the map rotation for DM and Objective??? eek:

if you set the map rotation though console then it will not change whether you are running FFA TDM or OBJ the best thing if you want different rotations is to create seperate cfg files examples can be found on this site [url=http://www.mohadmin.com:f235a]HERE[/url:f235a]

then all you have to type in console is exec configname.cfg

and it will run it for you.

ok...

i went to the objective type game in my server and added the new map rotation using the seta sv_maplist, if i change the gametype to 2 and make another maplist rotation suing dm maps will my objective one be lost?? or will it still be there? oOo:

no your obj one will be lost and you willl have to re enter it when you go back to gamtype 4
