Default WW2 Book - 03-05-2003, 04:57 PM

Hey, I'm planning on writing a book set in World War 2. It's going to be set in Europe during the winter, because I want to do something with Christmas. Anyway, I was wondering what subjects you guys (obviously people interested in WW2) would like to see get touched upon? Like if you were reading a WW2 book, what would you be most interested in reading about?

Thanks!

Battle of Bastagone. I can't take enough of how the allies made it through these conditions with the equipement they had, and the Germans mortar fire.

if you are going to write a book you have to be serious about it, read many books on the subject, maybe even contact some veterans

well if you are actually serious about this, do a book on the Huertgen Forest or the operations in Western France, they are not covered very much...or the battles for Sicily and Italy

You need to do a book on the 442nd combat unit. The most decorated combat unit in the Military. It was made up of the Japanese volunteers. Never seen any books on it. And it would make an interesting story of volunteers fighting during christmas while their families are in the internment camps. Wait...maybe I'll write it.
