Default Modding TIK files and getting them to take effect... - 03-06-2003, 11:01 AM

I also have another question, I'm kinda new at it and was wondering if any of you experts could lend a little hand, How do I get ALL the changes I made to my weapons’ TIK files to take effect in the server (i.e. Viewkick) without all the users having to download the file? When I test my mod on my own computer and have a couple people join, the viewkick does not effect them. Will this also be the case in a dedicated server? Please let me know what I need to do different if you can, as I don’t have a whole heck of a lot of time to research websites and forums thoroughly. Thanks.

has a useful guide on modding tik files besides the one here on Alliedassault, cause it's not very helpful on breaking down what changing each attribute does, that would be great! Thanks

Im not sure i understand your question correctly but i think what your trying to say is how to put the .tik file back into the pk3? And another one of your problems is maybe its woeking under clientside mod, other then server side how it should be. cool:
