Default Which Video Card would you use? - 03-25-2003, 09:52 AM

OK. I've been doing my research and I have found pros and cons about each video card that I'm looking at for my new system I'm building. I'm asking you fellow gamers from all over the globe, which would you choose? Keep in mind, my new ASUS motherboard will have an nForce 2 chipset, processor AMD XP 2200(1.8 GHZ). Thanks in advance.

Go with ATI. If you want the top of the line, the 9800 should be here soon. The 9700 is still an awesome piece of hardware. Should come down on price when the 9800 arrives.

I have always been gforce fan, but they have really shit the bed lately with their fx.

ATI is cheaper, faster and quieter, unless you want the ti4600, and that is borderline old technology. I would not want to be stuck with a 4600 when the next generation of games comes out. I recommend a 9700pro minumum.
