Car Confirmed: DOA -
03-29-2003, 07:14 PM
Well my engine is a total write off. I investigated into my engine further today. I found a 2+ inch hole in the engine block itself. The fact that i could reach inside and feel around wasnt a good sign.
The location of the hole explains why there was no great loss of oil, and no cloolant loss.

You can always get an engine transplant. Try to be put on the donor list.

Well just got back from searching a few car lots. All i can say is... God damn i hate looking at cars. Fucking annoying sales people, trying to ram a car down your gullet. I was looking at anything today and ended up finding a '00 Jeep Wrangler with 34,000 miles for 10 g's. It was nice but didnt feel right. Im thinking about starting a hunt for some classic muscle cars. Older mustangs and such. I dont really like most new cars, for one reason or another. I've always loved the older cars, the trouble is finding a good one.
If you had bothered to read my last post about this you know what happened. As for getting the engine replaced... i paid 2500 for the car off a friend of an old roomate. So i got a deal the car booked for over 5, and i got hasstled when i got the new registration, saying i was lieing about how much it was to lower the tax. Anyhow, a replacment engine would cost more in parts and labor than the cars value.
