You won't think life is so short when you're 98 and sitting in a pool of your own piss, watching All In The Family re-runs in your nursing home room.

biggrin:

Life isn't too short. If life is 'too' anything its too pointless.

Catching up on old spam huh.

Anywho.

Life isn't too short. Not much we do now that we dont have enough time to do. Life is just the right way its supposed to be with the way we currently have our social model set up. When we become more advanced and capable of much more, our life spans will extend accordingly - and there you go. You'll get 200 years of life. Of course GAMES will take a decade to make, you'll get paid every year, and the legal drinking age will be 75, but hey - its the price we pay.

All in all, I really don't consider this spam. Well. . .it is sorta, but at least we're discussing it.

Personally, I don't question why life it so short that much, but what the hell are we doing here? As a teenager, I guess I haven't believed in my spirit or faith yet, so I don't really follow my religion that closely. I would like to, but I just don't find the church (im catholic) suited for me. I dunno, eventually, I hope to get to some point where I realize exactly what Im doing and what direction I am going in. (HELL! hehe)

The game of life is hard to play
I'm gonna lose it anyway
The losing card I'll someday lay
so this is all I have to say.

funny..but true all the same. i think when you get to be a certain age your tired and pretty much ready to cash it in. you cant do anything much. you have people taking care of you all the time. lots of achs and pains...always goin to the doctor. all your friends pretty much gone before you. i think its natures way of kinda preparing you for what you know is comming very soon and you really dont mind. you lived a very long time and your pretty much just tired and ready to cash in your chips.
