Have you guys ever suffered from game burnout?
I can't stand computer games anymore! I have tried to play in the last four months or so and can't sit down for more than ten minutes. All the games annoy me, nothing is original, fresh, interesting, etc. I am talking PC games, and my PS2. I even offered to give my PS2 to my fiance's bro, I am so sick of it.
Please tell me that this phase will come to an end. cry:

After you get sick of paying bills, doing homework, getting pissed at the significant other, dealing with humanity in general - firing up MORROWIND and laying waste to a town full of people will be a welcome comfort.

Vietcong is fresh and original, I suppose. Any FirstPS with an " Iron Sight" view is awesome, adds more realism.

I've been paying bills for near ten years now, and don't do homework anymore. However, I have a very stressful job that runs me about eleven to twelve hours a day (except weekends), never get to see the old lady due to conflicting schedules, and in general, I am very pissed off at the world. You would think that gaming would be some much needed stress relief, but it's not, it just pisses me off more.
Maybe I have gotten to the point, where simulated violence isn't enough, and I need to take a trip to the local clock tower. eek:
And I knew you mofo's would be scammin' on my goods! biggrin:

I wouldn't let this get out, the suits might use it against us gamers. "GAYMING CAUSES STRESS AND MANIFESTS AN URGE FOR VIOLENCE IN THE PERSON." Lol. Watch it, the walls have ears.

If you want serious advise I would suggest you stop playing FPS style games and do something else entirely.
It doesn't have to be anything to do with your pc, but if it is it needs to be something you don't normally do.
Maybe try your hand at learning something that interests you but you never felt you had the time to do (because you do now).
I had a lot of burnout on MOH last year and just stopped playing it altogether.
I spent my spare time (ie not at work, with gf, etc) playing Everquest or being creatie with Blitz Basic. Hell, I even loaded up some really old PC DOS games (mostly conversions of Amiga classics) from underdog online and had a blast.
You just need a change of pace.
I hope you feel better about things soon.

Totemkopf or however you spell your freaky name that means random junk or whatever (they took that section out of CGW :( )
Anyhow.
Yeah, Ive had game burnout. Like.. now. I play MOH for 10 minutes, then go dirtbiking. Or read.
Its weird, and its random. I was burnt out on D2, then I played it for like, 4 weeks, 3-6 hours a day. Now, I dont play anymore.
Odd.
I like my dirtbikes.
