Default Internet Explorer question - 04-18-2003, 07:56 AM

Everytime when I open a window, instead of poping up(maximize),the damn thing goes to my taskbar(minimized)

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Try this maybe:
Right click on the IE shortcut, go to properties, look down where 'run' is and select 'maximized'.

Not in the window but on your desktop. Click on the shortcut icon then go to properties. From there it has a few different droplists to choose from. Use the "run" one and the choices will be minimize, maximize, or normal. Just choose maximize.

Yeah, what star said. That's the best way to fix the problem from what I know. Otherwise, you would have to fix it in the registry.
