Default binding keys - 04-23-2003, 11:04 AM

is it considered cheating to bind a useless key to going spectator?

I am considering doing this to piss off newbies (ie. shoot once from behind, run away around corner and dissapear biggrin: )

Really besides clan matches and practice the only thing I do in MOHAA is play practical jokes on newbies evil:

If you're just doing it to piss off people I doubt anything is really cheating hehe.

But, I've seen this lots of times in the past where it's been used to great advantage. For instance, using a bazooka is a dangerous game in DM, but not if you use this trick.

Also, it can be used to keep your death rate low in TDM games and not dying = good way to win in TDM.

I've had it used against me and it's annoying and I'm not a noob biggrin:

I know server admins that would boot for that. If you were someone I knew (Like you are) and were doing it to someone else we knew, it would be OK. Doing it to piss people off, it would just be as annoying as leanbinding. I dont consider it cheating though.

You gotta take a look at different aspects of where it can be a dis/advantage like the posts above.
