Default TRACER MOD HELP!!! - 04-27-2003, 03:48 PM

I need help on how to configure mohaa so that you have a tracer for every weapon. Someone said that you can modify the weapon tik files and told me the line of code on how to do it, but i have no idea as to where the weapon tik files are located, i know they are in the main directory but where...please someone help.

I am running a realism mod with tracers on my server, Red's Box. You are correct that each TIK file needs to be edited. This realism mod with tracers is available for download on my site.

If you download my map packs, you can join my server and try it out. I am running custom maps only, and have about 20 in rotation (which reminds me, I need to update my site with that info).

If you have your own realism mod, or wish to modify another one, below are the lines that you need to modify for each TIK. For example, if you are running realism, a tracer frequency of 1 will have a tracer for every round. 0 means no tracers. 3 would be every 3rd round, etc.

sp tracerfrequency 1
dm tracerfrequency 1
sprealism tracerfrequency 1
dmrealism tracerfrequency 1

Thanks anyways for the info on how to create a game with tracers, but what I want is just my computer to show it. Ive found the tik files for the weapons, and also have found the line of code for the tracers, but I tried modifying the code to how it is supposed to be but it still doesnt work...what am I doing wrong! Honestly someone out there must know wtf im talking about!

Do you wish the tracers when playing multiplayer? If so, I'm fairly certain that they can only be obtained if the server has them enabled.
